TOPIC: Send button sometimes does not work/upload the comment

Hi Daniel,

My members and I have sometimes problems with the send button. When I for example want to post a message, the send button does not work, and just loads.. but nothing happened. After some time.. say 10 minutes, it works fine again.. but I would really like to solve this problem, cause I think at one point members don't want to comment anymore because of these problemes of not saving the comment right away.

Do you have any idea what causes this problem?
p.s. wrote you today a review on joomla site think it will be published some time later.

Hi Daniel.

At the moment there are a lot more visitors of my site that can't post a comment due to saving issues or something. They try it 10 times, but still it doens't work. And at the moment I have a book that they can win on the site, so lots of visitors get disappointed when they cannot comment on the article.

the browsers used and of which I know it happens is mozilla firefox and IE. I have it too sometimes, and when I click on the button I see it flashes (the small squares) and nothing happens then. Don't know what causes it, and most of the time I can just post a comment, but still.. it is strange that it happens

Please delete the comments I made - everything went fine with all of them...

However in IE9, there is a mootools conflict, but I don't think that it is the reason for this. Did I explain to you how to use firebug?

Perhaps a clever thing to do would be to browse your page with firebug open and whenever you encounter a problem look in the console for any js errors and give them to me.

I know of pages that receive daily more than 1000 comments and they don't experience problems such as yours. Perhaps it is an add that creates errors on the page or so... Browse your site with firebug and let me know whenever you get one of those comments.
