Hi, I have purchased your CComment for the 30day trial. I have installed it on my dev site to see how it improves hikashop comments, which are very poor - not even configured with a line feed for each comment. It was suggested I try your product by the hikashop admins. I could not find any hikashop demo on your demo site.
My dev site is dev.ellixer.com, see dev.ellixer.com/store/product/1-multi-nutrient-complex-480ml
The only change it seems to have made is put a big 'Write Comment' button under the product, which doesn't go to any comment form when selected. I don't want this button, I'm looking for a way to improve the comments section of hikashop, as product testimonials are the important for marketing my product, and I need to get them looking better than they are.
Could you please explain what improvements your extension can make to hikashop comments?
Thanks.
Andy

Hey Andy,
I'll have to look at this. I've made the integration with Hikashop several years ago and it's possible that Hikashop has changed something.
You can disable the write comment button in the settings. But when you go to the product page you should still see the comments. Now actually on your site I see traces of the comment system... You have a javascript conflict.

My javascript console tells me that jQuery is not defined. The joomla validate script needs it. But the standard joomla library is loaded after the validate.js. Then you have jquery again loaded by hikashop in an older version. Isn't there an option in hikashop to not load their own jquery version?

You'll have to sort those conflicts first and after that my guess is that the comment system will pop-up on the page.

Regards,
Daniel
