Daniel,

I would like to change the comments "Send" button to "Submit" or "Post".

Could you please point me in the direction of the necessary code to modify?

I know I am changing things here and there, but ultimately the usefulness of any Extension is is unique to any specific site - there is no "one size fits all :)

After the above small mod, aside from the module, you can consider me to be an exceptionally happy customer with CompoJoom Comments working great :)

There is definitely no other Joomla comment Extension I would prefer to have - you can be sure of that. Exceptional product, exceptional support.

Thanks very much indeed.

Hey Adrian,
The language stuff is always handled in the language file (the same way as it is with most joomla extensions).

language/your-langugae/your-language.com_comment.ini

Search in that file for Send and change it to whatever you need. Make sure that your translation is in quotes like this:
COM_COMMENT_THE_STRING_YOU_WANT_TO_TRANSLATE="Translation"

Cheers,
Daniel

Since Joomla 2.5 it is possible to change any language string via override.

Please go to Extensions - Language Manager - Overrides.

To find your preferred string have a look on the right side.

Enter "send" into the search field, you will find the language constant you have to overwrite.

Take that to the "Language Contant" field to the left and enter the desired word below.

Now you will have a new translation of your string and it will NOT be overwritten after an update of the component unless the underlying constant would be changed.

Regards
Some1new
