I asked the first question on ny original pre-sales topic, so apologies for the repeat.

Here are a couple of questions:

1. I would like to keep the posting stats article specific, i.e. specific to the page upon which the article and comments appear, rather than the module producing stats for every article on every page which loses its context and confuses the user with non-relevant stats

Probably the best way to do this is to have an additional option in the module to specify article ID, and then simply copy the module for each article, add the corresponding article ID, and assign the module to its related article.

So the only modification required would be an option for article ID for which you wish to generate stats.

I notice there is a "Categories by ID" option, what I need is an article ID option.

Could this be done - I am sure it would be a simple by valuable enhancement?

2. I have installed the module but because my site is not live yet, I cannot answer the following question by looking at my own site, and I cannot find a module demo on this site.

The Module displays:

Latest comments
Most voting yes comments
Most voting no comments
Most rated comments
Most commented content item

Does each of the abobe have a heading, such as "Lates comments", "Most Voting Yes", "Most Voting No" etc so it is obvious what each displayed comment relates to?

Thanks - excellent Extension :cheer:

Hey Adrian,
Unfortunately the module can't do this thing right now, but I find it a good idea and I'll put it on the wishlist. ( we will need to think about the whole ecosystem - obviously this change needs to be made for all plugins so it will take some time)

If you want a module that displays latest comments -> then you publish the module-> write a heading latest comments and you are done.

If you want a module with "Most voting yes comments" -> you repeat the above steps, but for a heading you write "Positive votes". The module doesn't determine the title automatically and it can do only one thing at once.

Kind regards,
Daniel

OK - thanks for the clarification.

I am sure you can see what I mean anyway.

Users will need to know what is being presented in the "activity" module, whereas right now the comments quoted could be anything.

These are not criticisms- this is an awesome extension - I am simply offering my observations from the perspective of a user who might get confused :)

I would say that if a module that categorises "Latest", "Most Popular", "Most Voted" etc is going to have to be published in a wide module position - if it was published in to a column it would look too crowded.

In the module manager, can I save the module as a copy and have one module display "latest comments", and the copy renamed to display "most comments" in another module position?

Hey Fernando,
This is not a function of the module, but of Joomla. So yes - you can create a copy of the module -> make your changes and publish it.
