TOPIC: Update to Joomla 2.5 ?

Yea, go ahead! The component is working! I'm myself waiting for cloudaccess.net to upgrade my instance to j2.5. (I'm currently on 1.7)

I am using Joomla 2.51 and CompoJoom Comments works fine.

Yes, I can also confirm that bot compojoom and Hotspots work as designed under Joomla 2.5.1 and Community builder 1.71. Waiting however for nice/new features for future updates of these products

Any info re: how to upgrade when you have a live site and upgrade site; which tables to copy to the upgrade site?

You need to copy every table that starts with #__comment...
That is all. Then on the new site install the latest version of compojoomcomment and it should pick up the old entries.
For hotspots one needs to copy #__hotspots...
