I can not change component language

Has copied files of Russian localization in appropriate directories on a site: administrator/language/ru-RU and language/ru-RU
Has created in a folder administrator/language/ru-RU two lacking files: ru-RU.com_comment.menu.ini and ru-RU.com_comment.sys.ini

But a component on former in English. Menus were Russified only:

At attempt to edit English language files, a control bar a component assumes such air:

The same is created and in Front-end

Help to solve a problem

I guess that you are on joomla 1.7. By the look of the screenshot some parts are translated and some not - this means that there is a syntax error in the translation file. To figure out exactly on which line you'll need to go to global configuration and enable language debug, then at the bottom of the page you will see what language files are currently loaded, if there are some strings that are not translated and syntax errors.

Once you fix the syntax errors it should work.

Даниэль, Спасибо за наводку, ошибка действительно в пакете русской локализации (лишние кавычки (") во многих местах), бекенд работать заставил, сейчас проверю перевод фронтенда и скину вам исправленный перевод!

В ближайшее время постараюсь выложить русский перевод JomSocial features for CompojoomComment v1.0.8
