Daniel,

I have installed the latest version (compojoomcomment-4.2.1-pro.zip) of CComment. The install said that it completed successfully. I was able to go into the settings and set everything up following the documentation. However, the templates seem to be not displaying correctly and the emoticons and the UBB icons do not show in the backend or the frontend. On top of that, when you try to add a comment and select Send, nothing happens. Using the Web Developers Toolbar in Firefox, there appear to be a number of javascript errors. Please help! I can supply you with the required information for checking things out. It is a members only site, so you will need a login.

Ok - for some reason all the files had the permissions set to 600. Which means that the public group cannot read those files... I have no idea why the server has set this permissions to the files... But looking at other components on your server their files have permissions set to 705 - which is also mega strange...

Anyway it is working now - I advise you to check those permissions ;)

Cheers,
Daniel

P.S. Please write a review about the component and the support here:
