Hey guys, I got following problem I just installed the comment pro plugini, and set up the k2 integration and the jomsociel integration like it's mentioned on your page.
Now Jomsocial stream shows me something like this, if smeone comment on a article in k2.

{actor} {single}hat einen Kommentar geschrieben{/single}{multiple}hat einen weiteren Kommentar geschrieben{/multiple}

EDIT: Ok i could solve this problem.
But why i got no link to the k2 article someone commented on in my jomsociel stream?
I got only the article name, but no link to it. See the attached pic.

Vorstellung Dennis should be a link to the k2 article.

Why this happens?

Hey Thomas,
That is strange, normaly the link should be there. Have you enabled both plugins responsible for jomsocial?
Do you have any other comment items except k2? Is the activity feed for them correct?
Regards,
Daniel

Hi,

yes both plugins are enabled.
Community - CComment
CComment - JomSocial features

Before we got Jcomments Plugin in use, but this could not transport comments to Jomsocial, so we bought your plugin for this.
With above mentioned activated Plugins, we got the {actor} {single} thing again like in my first post.

Should I open a ticket, to let you now our site credentials, so you could take a look for yourself?

I thought that we have a bug in the plugins. But I just tested it and it worked for me.
First I made a comment with only CComment - Jomsocial features plugin enabled. The comment was added to the activity stream and it was displayed as in the screenshot you posted.
But once I enabled the Community - Ccomment plugin, then it shows "Admin wrote a comment in article X" and article X is a link to the articlle. Are you sure that Community - Ccomment is really enabled?

Regards,
Daniel

Hey, yes both are activated.
We even deinstalled everything what was old e.g. Plugins and installed Ccomments fresh! Same behaviour as mentioned.

We got Jomsocial Version 3.2.1.5
And this are our Settings

Hm, just got and idea. Is your site in English or in another language? Seems like you have german. Can you check the language file?
administrator\language\en-GB\en-GB.plg_compojoomcomment_jomsocial.ini
; first line should start with semicolon for transifex to work properly
JOMSOCIAL_ADDGENERAL_COMMENT="%s commented on <a href='%s'>%s</a>"
JOMSOCIAL_WALL="wall"
JOMSOCIAL_NEGATIVEVOTE_COMMENT="%s dislikes %s's comment in <a href='%s'>%s</a>"
JOMSOCIAL_POSITIVEVOTE_COMMENT="%s likes %s's comment in <a href='%s'>%s</a>"
JOMSOCIAL_ITEM="item"

Does the germany file contains the correct translations?

Ok, that was it :-)
Our site is in German!
So the original en-GB language file contains this:

; first line should start with semicolon for transifex to work properly
JOMSOCIAL_ADDGENERAL_COMMENT="%s commented on <a href='%s'>%s</a>"
JOMSOCIAL_WALL="wall"
JOMSOCIAL_NEGATIVEVOTE_COMMENT="%s dislikes %s's comment in <a href='%s'>%s</a>"
JOMSOCIAL_POSITIVEVOTE_COMMENT="%s likes %s's comment in <a href='%s'>%s</a>"
JOMSOCIAL_ITEM="item"

The de-DE language file contains this:

JOMSOCIAL_ADDGENERAL_COMMENT="{actor} {single}hat einen Kommentar geschrieben{/single}{multiple}hat einen weiteren Kommentar geschrieben{/multiple}"
JOMSOCIAL_ADDJOMSOCIAL_COMMENT_TARGET="{actor} {single}komentierte{/single}{multiple}hat einen weiteren Kommentar geschrieben{/multiple} in {target}'s"
JOMSOCIAL_ADDJOMSOCIAL_COMMENT_OWN="{actor} {single}komentierte{/single}{multiple}hat einen weiteren Kommentar geschrieben{/multiple} in seinem/seiner"
JOMSOCIAL_WALL="wall"
JOMSOCIAL_DELETEGENERAL_COMMENT="{actor} {single}hat einen Kommentar gelöscht{/single}{multiple}hat diverse Kommentare gelöscht{/multiple}"
JOMSOCIAL_DELETEJOMSOCIAL_COMMENT_TARGET="{actor} {single}hat einen Kommentar gelöscht{/single}{multiple}hat diverse Kommentare gelöscht{/multiple} in {target}'s"
JOMSOCIAL_DELETEJOMSOCIAL_COMMENT_OWN="{actor} {single}hat einen Kommentar gelöscht{/single}{multiple}hat einen weiteren Kommentar gelöscht{/multiple} in seinem/seiner"
JOMSOCIAL_NEGATIVEVOTE_COMMENT="{actor} {single}mag {target}'s Kommentar nicht{/single}{multiple}mag verschiedene Kommentare nicht{/multiple}"
JOMSOCIAL_NEGATIVEVOTE_COMMENT_GUEST="{actor} {single}mag {target}'s Kommentar nicht{/single}{multiple}mag verschiedene Kommentare nicht{/multiple}"
JOMSOCIAL_POSITIVEVOTE_COMMENT="{actor} {single}mag {target}'s Kommentar{/single}{multiple}mag verschiedene Kommentare{/multiple}"
JOMSOCIAL_POSITIVEVOTE_COMMENT_GUEST="{actor} {single}mag {target}'s Kommentar{/single}{multiple}mag verschiedene Kommentare{/multiple}"
JOMSOCIAL_HERE="hier"
JOMSOCIAL_IN="in"

I added the english one in the german, translated the elements I need, and it seems, that everything works fine right now.
Will test further tomorrow, but I looks goog so far ;-)

Thank you for your help.

Edit: Ok tested everything and I got one more thing to go.
The comments on the k2 article shows the USERNAMES, the entry in the Jomsocial stream shows the Real Name. Hot can I change the language file to show the Unsername instead of the real name.

Isn't actually jomSocial who is showing the real names? I think that we just save the user_id in the jomsocial activity table. From there Jomsocial generates the name.

Regards,
Daniel

P.S. Btw, did you get the language pack from our site? Or are you a long time user of the comment system and just updated to the new version?
