Hello,
i'm not to 100% sure when this happend. Maybe it occured after our site migration to a dedicated server a few days ago. I don't know.

We noticed yesterday that the "Send" button on the CompojoomWalls v1.0.2 plugin is greyed out/disabled.
And in addition there is strange "9" :huh:
(this 9 is only visible when you're logged in. For guests not.)

See picture:

I disabled the "Only registered" feature that you can see it by yourself:
Regular Comment section: >>> www.ptcsociety.com/news
Profile CommentWall: >>> www.ptcsociety.com/society/myprofile/klickjobs

This is only in the CompojoomWalls on the profiles and not on the regular comment pages.
I added new com_community settings because i thought something went wrong there but it didn't help.

Any idea what this might cause?

Thanks for any help in advance!
Regards,
Martin

Hey Martin,
Did you make any changes to the original template? About the button grayed out -> this is normal css. Your jomsocial installation is styling this:
body #community-wrap .button {

since the class for that send button is also .button -> the color for the community-wrap gets applied to the button as well.
and easy workaround would be to add a little css to your template
#joomlacommentform .button {
color: #000!important;
}

This should fix it. As for the - 9 - this is really strange? Again did you make changes to the template? Any code modifications? Maybe you forgot an echo somewhere?

Kind regards,
Daniel

Hello Daniel,
sorry for the late reply and thanks for your answer.
I haven't changed anything to the template.
My Joomla (Purtiy II) Jomsocial and compojoom templates are all original and not modificated.

However, i will try out your solution when i have the time.
Actually i have disabled the CommentWalls because i cannot exclude it from the AUP system. And it is also not so important for my community to make comments on profiles (although i would like it to offer this).

Thanks a lot so far. When i have tried it out i will let you definetly know here if your solution worked.

greets!
