Hi there,

compojoomComments looks quite impressive.
I would like to add it to adsmanager. I have seen in the documentation what to do.
But I would like to only have a link to a page with comments, and this link should be below the ad view from adsmanager.
Is that possible ? I guess that would mean pagination number of comments = 0 on the same page as the ad, and then pagination normal once on the page of comments.

Does this make sense ? and is it possible ?

thanks
Lydia

Hey Lydia,
I'm not sure that I properly understand the question - could you please give me some screenshots? Thanks,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

thanks for your answer.
Actually a simple way to explain is : I is possible to have the comments added in a tab.
there would be two tabs : one with the ad and one with comments.

thanks
Lydia

Hey Lydia,
I'm sorry but no - you can't have the comments in a tab - unless you are a developer that knows what is doing :)

Kind regards,
Daniel

ok, I understand that I cannot easily have the comments in a tab.
How about having the comments show up, not just under the ad (I am using adsmanager), but in a new page ?
Could there be a link below the ad that says "click here to view comments"
and when you click on the link the ad disappears, and the comments show up ?

thanks

Hi,
No, that is also not possible. Comments need to be tied up to a content item -> ad, video, article. Displaying them outside of the page with that item doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Most of the time you are commenting because you've read an article, watched a video. If we were to send you to another page just to see the comments and to comment there... why use comments? One can add a kunena thread plugin. The plugin will create a link to the forum thread and the user can comment there... I don't think that the usability suffers with such solutions.

Kind regards,
Daniel
