TOPIC: Avatar not updating

I got my avatar to work, however about a month ago I changed my avatar photo.

I have posted on other sites and this new updated photo shows. However, I have posted new comments on my own site, but the old photo still shows.

I don't have any cache enabled for joomla or any joomla extension. I've emptied my browsers cache.

It seems as though there is a cache somewhere I should be clearing. Not sure why my old photo is still appearing on my website, but new one is showing on other sites.

Any ideas?

are we talking about gravatar or jomsocil/cb?
Can you try it with another browser?

sorry, it's gravatar. I've tried safari, firefox, and chrome. Still same old picture.

can you give me a link to the site. I'm pretty sure that I'll make a screenshot and you'll tell me if this is the correct picture.

i've changed my gravatar image a week ago and it was immediately picked up by the component. There is actually nothing special about the way we get the pictures - we query the gravatar api in the way that they want it... Are you sure that you've updated your gravatar image for all e-mail addresses?

Yes, I'm sure gravatar is updated. I checked many times and actually posted on a forum last week. As I mentioned, this forum had my new picture not my old one.
