Hey Benny,
Could you please upload the screenshot somewhere else? I tried to post a comment, but you need to confirm it first...

Request failed mailfunction means that your server was not able to send a mail for some reason. I think that it is a pure coincidence that you got the message after changing the smilies.

Hi,
Thx for the reply.
Here is the screenshot .
Weird thing is that after i got the issue, i messed around with the setting without any luck. Afterwards i uploaded some original files via FTP. When that was done, is needed to update (Live update) the extension (witch is weird because it was the same verion 4.2 pro). Also this did not help but now the weird thing comes. I shutt down the computer and went to an appointment, back home, suddenly seemed working again (even your anonymous post). Although all is working now, i am not sure if it will keep working because the issue came up without doing anything (did not mess with settings component, nor website, only changed smilies)
So far it's working, so if it happens again i will be in touch :)
Sorry for my poor English.
Kind regards

Hey Benny,
I think that this is some kind of a problem with your server...The 2 top sentences are what the php mail function returns on failure...
Hm, I'll think on this. Maybe we should still post the comment even if the mail function returns failure... (with post I mean - just show the comment and a message that no notification was sent... right now is kinda ugly for the end user)

Hi Daniel,
Thx for the reply again.
Are u suggesting that this will be included in the next version or do you want me to add/change some codes in the files of compojoom? Almost no knowledge about coding, so i won't be able to manage that myself :).
Anyway, your suggestion sounds like good plan to me. A visitor should not (or hardly) have to notice if errors occurs, admins should.
Kind regards

I'll try to brake the function that sends the mails (a standard php function) I think that the reason for this error is because this function encounters an error and stops the execution of the script...

I need to investigate this, but if a solution is possible, then it will be of course included.
Kind regards,
Daniel
