Hi,
I am not really an expert so I left the upgrade from the old JoomlaComment to the new Compojoom to experts, hoping that evrything would run smoothly. What it did - only the result does not look the way I had hoped - see attachment.
I installed the German language files, but still... take a look yourself.
Please let me know how I can fix this. I would not like to turn the whole commentthing off, but the way it looks now almost leaves me no choice.
Best wishes
Dirk

... and I do not see my attachment, the screenshot...
It would be great if one could put images right into the posting. So where is it now? Can anybody see it? And take a look at my problem?

Looks like your language file is outdated.
Check your stuff with the language parts of this thread: Language

I thought so. That is why I downloaded the latest German language file this morning and installed it. The result is what you saw on my site...

If you check the German file from the download section against the recent French one I made in the post I linked to, you will see there are quite a few changes...
The German file looks to have been created 2010-04-18, which is WAY outdated...
I am sorry to say I don't speak German, but I will take a look to see if I can create a correct German file later this evening when I get home.

First thing I did was replace every piece of "JOOMLACOMMENT" in the ini-file by "COM_COMMENT" which fixed quite a lot of issues, but not all. I noticed that the French language file is much smaller than the German one. How come? Which is the most recent language file I may use in order to update the German one?
