Just upgraded to your commercial version a couple of weeks ago and installed the new version on my websites.
The component works fine on one website ( www.telavivguide.net ) but there seems to be an error on my second website ( www.israelguide.net ).
This is the error that appeared before I disabled the component:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class JOSC_config in /home/israel/public_html/administrator/components/com_comment/library/JOSC_config.php
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks,
Lea

Hey Leanne,
I was about to answer your mail, when I saw that you also posted here on the forum :)
On the second site you've made an error with the update.
Read the manual again - it says that you'll have to uninstall the previous version, and then install the new one.
In your situation right now - just go to the uninstall tab and uninstall the component, then install it again. this should fix the error message. (make sure to read the documentation again prior to doing this :))

Cheers,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for your reply.
I followed your instructions, but something still seems to be wrong with the installation...
I'm getting a warning at the top of the page and the icons in the comment component are huge.
Is this some sort of problem with thumbnail definitions?
Sorry for the bother, but everything seems to be working just fine on the second site I have and I did exactly the same for both.
Cheers,
Leanne
P.S.
You can take a look and see what I mean: israelsmart.com/jerusalem/jerusalem-restaurants/chili-pizza-/ - thanks!

Hey Leanne,
Well looking at your site I should say that this problem is not related to compojoomcomment.
What I mean is that the problem is coming from the allgallery plugin that you use. It is trying to create a thumbnail for the captcha system...

The images on the other side are so big because of a plugin or something (I think it is called highslide or something). it is creating a click effect and once you click on the emoticon it becomes "bigger".

Look at the configuration for those plugins - perhaps you can turn them off for compojoomcomment.

Hey Daniel,
Thanks for your reply regarding the thumbnail problem, which I have not really managed to solve yet...
Now, however, I have another more critical problem.
Users are unable to post comments on my site www.telavivguide.net because there seems to be some sort of problem with the anti-spam code ever since I upgraded (took me a long time to notice I was not getting any new comments...)
Please let me know how to enable the code and solve the problem ASAP.
Thanks,
Leanne

Hey Leanne,
I'm not sure where the problem is coming from. I have one suggestion - go to the backend -> components-> compojoom comment-> edit the settings and save them (you don't have to change anything - just edit and save).

If this doesn't help then it is most probably related to the fact that your page is makign a lot of js errors.
MooTools.upgradeLog is not a function
[Break On This Error] var MooTools={version:"1.2.4",build:"0..."::")[1]);b.set("title","")}})}})})();

This errors are not generated by compojoomcomment, but they could be the cause of your problems.

Do you have the mootools upgrade plugin turned on? Perhaps turn it off and look if the page still loads.
