Well, must say I am impressed!
This was close to exactly the same as previous plugins.
Only differnce was the quantity of code that needed to be hacked (well, replaced).
Since it is copy/paste anyway, doesn't really matter...

The complete process took me around 5 minutes.

The first alteration is around line 2206 in your hwdvideoshare.class.php file.

The second alteration starts at around line 2277.

From this point it is regular stuff, and for me at least worked first time!
Thanks!!

LOL, Nils somebody is going to think that I have hired you to make good comments :D:D:D

About the quantity of code that need to be hacked - I spoke with Dave from HWDmediashare and I'm sure he is going to include an option in the backend of HWDVideoShare for !joomlacomment.

Haha, I was thinking the same thing!
But, the amount of times I have installed plugins and all sorts of stuff, just to have it kill my site is amazing!

So from past experiences, I have now a habit of reading what others say first, before testing it out myself.
Sort of, if the quantity of complaints is a lot, then I just don't even bother trying it.
If the quantity is small, then I assume the complainers are probably idiots.

Of course, I am an idiot myself, with potential to be great idiot... but you get the point.

So it is truly great to install stuff that just plops itself nicely in like this, without the need for endless tweaking in all sorts of directions to actually get it working.

Also, people tend to only leave comments etc when stuff isn't working. So a site may have tonnes of bad comments, giving a false indication of problem levels.
So I see feedback as important, even if it just to say it works.

Yeah, Dave is also very helpful!
