Is there an integration method i can take with code adjustments to let k2 COUNT the comments from ccomments? The integration is working fine functionally, but im not getting the counts to display and that is important for various reasons.

In category view the comment counter remains at 0 even with ccomments.

And modules that pull comment counts are also showing 0.

awesomescreenshot.com/09a1hppxa8 - this is the K2 -> categoties view and as you can see there is a "write comment (1 comment)" button?

Are you talking about something else?

Does the compocomment count populate the default k2 item comments count? Or is loading a separate code? I use an override of the default k2 category view and its not counting ccomments nor does my front page module of k2 items.

Hey Shonn,
We use the k2 plugin event onK2CommentsBlock -> if your template override has this, then you should see the "write comment" stuff.

the k2 plugin cannot show you the comments that are made on an item, because it looks in a different table (it looks for the build in comments). Why don't you use the comment module that is being installed with ccomment PRO?

Regards,
Daniel

In this responsive k2 module, it pulls comment count from k2 comments database. I have attached a view and the module.
