TOPIC: content is just a lot of question mark

Hi, I just installed Joomlacomment 4.0 beta2 in Joomla 1.5.15.

Language setting in Joomlacomment for back-end and front-end are both Traditional Chinese.

iconv code is utf-8.
(If I change to Big5, all the description text will become sympols)

Then the problem is, when I type comment in Chinese and submit, the result become a lot of question marks.(see attachment)

So, do you have any suggestion?

check your database and look if the joscomment tables are have utf8_general_ci as collation.

VERY THANKS, I changed five tables from "latin_general" into "utf8_general_ci" then the problem is solved.

by the way, how to change the width of the result comment?
it's too narrow.(please see the attachmemt above)


and do you have the setting to force user MUST filling content such as username, email and subject?

go to security - line overflow - make the values bigger and the text should take all the width.

Right now we don't have settings that force the user to fill everything.
