RC1? I guess you use a modified template. Choose the modern one from the backend and refresh the page.

About the space not being used - check the backend under security - text overflow.

switching to the new template is what i needed to do
i did upgrade compojoom but not the template

i switched to the newest template that came with the update in version

however i go to edit the template to add

#poweredby { display:none; }

and when i go to see it
i only see my old template
how do i replace the old template modified with the new template modified file

go to the media folder - delete the template from there. And then back to your joomlacomment backend - choose a custom template, click save and it should work.
