Hello,
New user. How not to display the comment form under a complete visible article, and just showing the number of comments as it made for intro ? Then I just download joomlacomment4.0.0RC1 and I have only the "modern" template available. How to integrate more template as it is shown through the demo video ? Thanks a lot for your help, |

At present the only template that works correct with the new XSS system is the Modern template.
JonusC is working at getting the others working correctly ASAP. Not sure when these will be ready though, but it shouldn't be long now. He has also be talking about additional functionality and options that sounds along the lines you mention, concerning the complete form visibility etc. The XSS security issue was (despite Joomla stating clearly NOT TO DISCLOSE etc) made public by some chap not too long ago. Hence, getting this XSS security issue fixed was suddenly a critical issue that needed immediate attention! So this has sort of come in between everything else. |

Thanks but does it mean no way for the moment that I need to use an other component ?

Well, as I said, JonusC is working on other templates that probably fit what you are looking for, as I understand it.
At present, it is the default Modern template and it's accompanying functionality versatilities that is the only option. I am not sure if there is a Commenting component that works as you are suggesting though. I have the Azrul one installed on another site I have, and that too has the comment form open in the same fashion. I am not sure if it has a closed option. But if you know how to make these templates you can probably fix a system to do this. I don't know how. Sorry. |
