TOPIC: Hide form by default?

I would like to know if is possible to hide form by default (only show if click on Add new)

Well you didn't try every single template! Look at the MT templates one of them has the form hidden.

It was so better if you let us choose for every template to show the comment and form in layout tab something like this

show comments: yes no
show form: yes no
form position: top bottom

any way if I can hack the code to do this please let me know

Impossible with a hack, you'd have to rewrite several hundred lines of code then modify every single template. Sorry Maybe in JoComment 5?

Keep in mind that the other templates might not be 100% compliant with XHTML 1.1 (users might report you have invalid markup on your page). Only modern is tried to kept 100% compliant during the beta phase.
