TOPIC: Donate trouble...

I have tried a few times to donate through your link on the right side menu bar...
And the Paypal is all in German, and it just refuses to understand me...

Hehe, well, ok my German is just not quite ready for the world yet...

The top sentence is:
Geben Sie den gewünschten Spendenbetrag ein, und klicken Sie auf Summe neu berechnen

There was also a fault lower down, in some other German letters...
Anyway, I typed in the amount, even though I was a little worried of doing something wrong... and it returned me to the start page...
Then again and again, so I changed how I was typing the value, now with a comma and 2 decimal places... and still, no go.

So I went back to the start again, and typed the value in again, without decimals, and pressed the Enter button... but this time, I pressed REALLY HARD (actually a fact! ), and it worked!!!

Straight after, you always come to a page that returns you to the original page you started (in this case Compojoom)... but wowa... 404 - Error: 404

Anyway, hope you got the money..

Thank you for the donation! I really appreciate it!
But really thank you for the feedback! I didn't know that the language the user sees on paypal is german - I don't have any idea why this happens, but I will investigate and come with a better and trouble free donation form.

Tried again now, and it is the same thing happening.

Seems the method is to type the donation value in, and then press enter.
That brings you to a new window where you do the Paypal login.

After that, the 404 comes.

So, it works, although not easy to understand when it's in German. I assume this is a tricky thing to alter.

So now the amount I originally wanted to donate is also done.

I have exactly the same problem. I downloaded and installed with no problem but can't seem to make a donation! I just don't read enough German to make it work.

I installed !JoomlaComment today ( www.jcharper.net ). It seems to do what I want although I would like to have it NOT appear when there is a "Read More" link in the article. Is there a way to do put it ONLY at the end of the article?

Thank you for your work. I don't believe in something for nothing. Every time I tried it I relearned the high price of Free. Walk me through the donation thing and I will be more than willing to pay!
