2. Does anyone have any suggestions for the best compatible blog extension to work with the comments?
3. has anyone come up with a solution to putting a comment tab in cb so that users will be allowed to see their last posted comment?

1. I have a lot of things to do, but I'm fine
2. No, right now no. You can always use the core article component and isntall plugins for it. There are plugins for pings, for bookmarks systems - nearly everything you could wish
3. A plugin is planned and is coming, but first beta1 and joomlacomment 4.0 stable. After that I will add a lot of the improvements you all are asking!
