TOPIC: Current Comment Version

Hi
I am fairly new to Joomla and am looking for a comment extension to use on one of my article pages (Joomla 1.5).

I like the look of what you have to offer but note that when I go to the download page, the component download indicates that I should not use it on a production site.

Do you have an earlier version that I can use or should I wait till a later date - and if so, by when do you think it may be installable.

My concern is that I don't want to get into a situation where I try something on my site that gets me into a situation that I do not have enough knowledge to navigate through.

You can use version 3.26 - you will have to turn on the legacy mode.
You can also use 4.0 alpha2 - there are no terrible bugs in it , and you can use it.

I'm planning to release a new version beta1 next week, but currently I have some troubles making a website that will show the advertisement feature in joomlacomment 4.0.

Do it as you wish - 3.26 or 4.0 alpha2 - they should work, and if something is not working write here in the forum and we will fix the bug

I have looked on your site for 4.0 alpha 2 and cannot find it. Could you please direct me to the download url.

Your link pointed me to alpha 3. I thought you had suggested that alpha 2 was a safer bet... (see above in your earlier post).
