The new version must be out soon, but due to some changes in the project it is a little bit different to tell you exact date.

The new version will be only 1.5 native - no new features will be introduced.
We are working on a new way to support the project and offer our users the best possible experience. I'm sure you are going to like the idea behind 4.0, but I'm not going to tell you more. :)

Hello Daniel! Thank you for reply.I wish to change the end to the another words or words. For example : #josc_comments or something else.Im using - Joomla. And i have a problem with long code in the brawser, for example - index.php?option=com_content&task=blogsection&id=6&Itemid=37.i wanna something - index.php?page2 and all.
Today i have advised the friend to use your component. There are a lot of reasons.Probably,It is not pleasant to you that all guys wanna change the end or something else:),but probably in this there is nothing bad.

Long urls are not a problem. Just turn on the seo option in joomla's configuration file.

It is complicated to change the #josc anchor. It must be changed in several files and that makes updates and everything complicated.

I'm telling you again - this will not help you in any way! What is the point of changing an anchor???

Search with your development environment for '#josc' in the administration part and in the frontend part.

administration part - change the plugin/content/josc_com_content.class.php
function linkToContent

And in the frontend:

jscripts/client.js
the index.html of your template
the comment.class.php
utils.php
comment.php

that must be everything. Search for the pattern '#josc' and replace it with the word you want.

Hello Daniel! Thank you for reply. You know,i can't explain why a whant to do so.Maybe i don't wanna to show to another - what kind of component im using (That there were no any hacks) or something else. Therefore,im clean all long code in the browser to my words. For example /content/blogsaction - /content/page2 not blogsaction. And i belieave that your component is the best of comment's component.I shall watch the development of this project.Im Jusing Joomla 1.x0 Lavra. What kind of ideas do you have? Maybe i must to upgrade up to 1.5.x?

Well examing the code that your web site will always tell someone that first: you are using joomla, then advanced developers can find out that you also use !jocomment and so on.

Look at the js code that we generate. All functions are starting JOSC_ because we don't to have a problem from the sort

function hello

and then in your script you have again
function hello

that is why we use JOSC_hello

It is not bad that your users can see what software you are using. Why should it be bad? Are you hiding that you are driving a FORD or VW or BMW? Nobody bothers what you use - just keep it updated :)

Well I expect to see joomla 1.6 this year and upgrading from 1.0 to 1.6 will be impossible. You have to go through 1.5 . So perhaps it is time to start migrating.

Thanks for the answer. More shortly, there has not turned to changed #josc
Everywhere where i has found #josc i has corrected on the name and all does not vary equally. Also has understood that there is no need to change something.Soon I shall pass to the new version of Joomla :woohoo:
