TOPIC: CMC New subscriber email

I have installed CMC and got it all set up. when a new subscriber signs up I am having a couple issues:
1. They are not getting the subscription confirmation email
2. Their first and last names are not auto filling in the fields in the joomla users which is not saving the users properly and syncing to my mail chimp lists.

We are talking about the registration plugin right?

If you require your users to confirm their registration, they won't get a mail from mailchimp. Whenever they click the link in your email, sent from your site, we will set them as confirmed in mailchimp. That is also explained in the docs for the registration plugin.
Isn't this the way it works for you?
