TOPIC: Pro Version but still can't disable "Powered by.."

I wanted to use the Akismet and also disable "Show Powered by" so I upgraded to Pro version. Uninstalled free version then installed new version. Install went well and everything seems to be working fine but Akismet button is grayed out so as Powered by. Search the forum but didn't find anything helpful. Has anyone experienced this?

Are you sure that you've downloaded the PRO package and installed it after that? You can't update through the backend from core to pro. You need to download the package from our site and install it over the core version that you use.

Look on your dashboard -> if it says core, then you haven't installed the PRO version. If it says pro - then I would need access to your site to look what could be wrong there.

The normal way - downloads -> the extension you need -> you click on the version number and just select the PRO version instead of the core. (If you don't see a pro version, then logout and login again and it should be there)
