TOPIC: Import ICS Calendar

How do I go about importing an ICS Calendar to Matukio?
I see there is Import from Seminar, but I am not sure what Seminar is in this case.

Seminar is the old Joomla 1.5 predecessor of Matukio. Currently Matukio can only export ICS files and not import them, this is going to come with Matukio 3.1 (which we are currently working on).

When do you expect to have the 3.1 version completed?
It looks as though I won't be able to use the Matukio component since I must be able to import ics.

Probably this month - ics import is almost finished, maybe i get it into a previous bugfix release. Can you maybe supply a sample ICS file you would like to import? (mail it to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. - just need some "real" examples). Which program do you use to generate them? Outlook?

We are currently working on the new version - first release candidate will be out this month. Can you still probide me with an sample ICS file you want to import?

How will I know when the new version is ready for download?

Also, I see that Matukio says compatible for Joomla versions 2.5 "till" 3.2....does this mean it is not supported in the newest update of Joomla 3.2.2?

We will probably write a newsletter and write about the release here in our blog, on facebook and on twitter.

3.2 means all version of Joomla 3.2 including 3.2.2, like 2.5 means all version of 2.5 (currently 2.5.18..).
