Hello,
I searched the forum but cannot find it ... sorry.
I installed the demo-version (if it all works for me, I want to buy the Pro version).
But how do I install an module??

The install-page says that mod_hotspots is installed.
When going to modules, and then Add new, I do not see any hotspot-modules.
I need a small map on the right side of my website.

Thanks for your help,
Steven Verhorst

Really? That cannot be. If you don't have a pro subscription, this means that you have downloaded the Core version. The core version doesn't have a module in the package. If for whatever reason the installer shows that there is a module being installed it is a bug.

Or wait - I think you got confused - the modules that get installed are part of the backend. They are for the dashboard in Hotspots. They don't have anything to do with the frontend.

The mod_hotspots that is included in the Pro version creates a simple list with the latest locations in your database.
Kind regards,
Daniel

Hello Daniel,

I am about to buy, but first need to know: What front-end modules will the PRO version give me?
And... since it is almost 2014, would you possibly have a coupon code for me, so I get some last-day-of-the-year discount?

Happy new year anyways,
Steven Verhorst

Hello Daniel,
I wrote this in the Quick reply-box, but perhaps it should have been an "normal" reply?

Like us on fb and you'll get a coupon code:

As far the module is concerned - as I said in my previous post - it is just a module that lists the latest hotspots. Check our demo page - it is on the right.

Cheers,
Daniel

Hello Daniel,
I bought the component. It is really good.
Is there a work-around to get a small map on the right? Since there is no module that does this...
Could it perhaps be done with a "trick" with a plugin or so?

And please, where can I find my invoice?
Thanks!
Blessings,

The Invoice should be in your mail. If it is not, you can download it from our website. Click on your name and in the dropdown you'll see "your invoices".

As far the map is concerned - no, currently there is no way to show a small map with the latest hotspots. You can of course use an iframe in a module, or a component that loads another components anywhere on the page, but I would advice against this as it can lead to issues:
1. Loading the main component on the right in a small area will mean that all the controls will look ugly.
2. It won't work if you try to load a map on the same page as hotspots.

I have this on my todo page, but hotspots is undergoing a relatively big rewrite right now and the next major version will take some time.

Regards,
Daniel
