sounds like some charset problem. Is cyrillic working for you in other parts of Joomla? We don't do anything special there, just display the given text. Encoding etc. is done by Joomla, your Database etc.

ALL other parts of the site is working perfect.
As you can see from my second picture, Category is shown normally, but not event.

Very very wired The page is actually encoded in UTF-8 (as it should be), so nothing special about it - it should work as expected. Can you create me a super admin account? i played a bit around to chase down your problem. I think it is caused by a wrong database / Matukio table charset (like latin-1). You need to change that to UTF-8 (It's pretty easy with tools like phpmyadmin).
