At the end 2007 I've joined the !jooomlacomment project. Alain Georgette was the lead of the project and I had joined with the intention to help on the forum (I couldn't really code back then). After about 6 Months Alain told me that he doesn't have time for this anymore and asked me if I want to take over the project. I had few days to think about it, but I was most probably not going to do it... Then one morning I woke up and saw that Alain had closed the project's website and had written his farewell blog - this is when it hit me. I couldn't leave it die like that. After a short brainstorming with Alain I think that he suggested the new domain name - compojoom. Compo stands for believe it or not "components"
. I got the domain, renamed the software and started developing it myself.... And here we are 5 years later.
