Hello,

I just started using HOTSPOTS(3.2.2) with Joomla(2.5) and when I test the menu link to submit a hotspot I get a 403 error. This will happen when I am NOT signed-in, or if I am signed-in as a Registered user. However if I sign-in as the Admin everything seems to work fine.

Any suggestions? Is there a setting I am missing somewhere?

Thanks!

Hey Mike!
Yes, you are missing something :)
Go to the dashbord -> on the top right you'll see an options button. Click on it and then go to the permissions tab. Assign create permissions on every group that should be able to access the "submit hotspot" view.

Cheers,
Daniel

Thanks Daniel for the fast reply! Everything was set to inherit in the permissions and I assumed that would be correct...but I did change the Registered users from Inherit to Allowed and that did the trick!

But now when I submit a newly created hotspot I get the following error: :(

Fatal error: Class 'CuserPoints' not found in /home/ohioamis/public_html/plugins/hotspots/jomsocial/jomsocial.php on line 64

You've enabled the jomsocial plugin and you don't have jomsocial installed?
If you have jomsocial, then I'll need to have a look at our plugin and make sure that it is up to date. (maybe they've changed something in jomsocial) you can turn it off and the submission will work just fine.

Regards,
Daniel
