TOPIC: translation not working.

i've added russian language to my joomla 2.5.1 site. nothing translated to russian. I've searched the forum and found one that is supposed to work. however, only one word was translated. the rest aren't translating. '

I've checked the lang file. the strings are there and are correctlt translated..

Please go to your global configuration and enable debug mode + language debug. Then go to your frontend, open an article with comments and look at the bottom of the site. Thanks to the debug mode you should see what language files are loaded and if there are parsing errors in the files.

Please check it out and let me know if it is correct (it should be).

hey, so i've downloaded that file - renamed it to the correct filename - uploaded and replaced the old file. didn't seem to fix the issue.

it only fixed one thing.. the field where you specify if u want to receive update emails. i've done the debug. gave a lot of errors. specifically in that language file.
