Now I use jomcomment at my website around 4 years and would like to change to other comment which can integrate with other component.
1.Now I use Jomsocial, hwdvideoshare, myblog, jreview. So can I integrate with all of these component with no hack?
2. I see this topic compojoom.com/forum/25-compojoomcomment/...ocial-profile-avatar and would like to ask you that does I need to adjust any code to work with jomsocial if I want to show avatar and can click to jomsocial's member profile at the compojoomcomment?
3.Do you have any demo for jomsocial + compojoomcomment?
4.Can I import comment from jomcomment to compojoomcomment 100%?
5.Do I adjust the code to work with jomsocial point and activity stream?
6.Do you test your comment component with jomsocial 2?

Sorry for many questions but I really want to find new solution for jomsocial and other component at my site.

Hope I find the better service than the component I use.

1. We don't have an integration with jreview. The integration process is described in our documentation and for jomsocial, hwdvideo and myblog it is really easy - all you need to do is install few joomla plugins, click on few options and ready (no code changes).
2. There are 2 options for this in the backend. From a drop down menu you can select to use jomsocial's avatar and to link to the jomsocial profile.
3. No (we need a better demo page, I know :))
4. Yes.
5. You just install the plugins necessary for jomsocial and the activity system and click the configuration options.
6. Read this: compojoom.com/blog/news/compojoomcomment...or-jomsocial-updated . As you see if something is not working, we'll update it ;)

I used Jomcomment for a short while, and I thought it worked fine.
I also had no problem with their service actually. They answered my queries fast and effective.

But after a short term with that I opted for this Comment system simply because it seemed better.
It was so easy to install etc, that I didn't need any service...
Also, I loved that this one has correct aspect ratio for Avatars. I know that's kind of a silly point technically, but I really dislike Avatars that get cropped or cut wrong.

Thanks Daniel for your answer. I think this is the last question that can I set to get only name from non-register commenter like this screencast.com/t/AJM430aqVY . I don't want to correct email from non-register.

Yes, I think their service is quite good but they cannot support their comment component with jomsocial. Just only tell jomcomment 4 will release soon but it's almost 1 year. Maybe they have not staff to do this.

Hey Wat,
Sorry but I didn't understand your last question - do you want to have only a name field for non-registered users? If yes, this is not possible. You can have the website field only for registered users, but you don't have an option to hide the email field.

Sorry for my poor english. screencast.com/t/OnKnoLYe Here is what I can set at jomcomment and can I set this at compojoomcomment. I don't want to collect email and website from non-register users because first I think it's not real and second it difficult to post. I see at the demo page that it has field website, title, security. It's really hard when user want to post one comment. Can I all disable these because I don't know why I have to know user's website, I don't know why they have to write a title because they write the comment for content.

Well, there is no option for this in the backcend. What I mean is that you cannot click a single option and hide the options. But what you can do is - edit the template and add style="display:none" to the fields that you don't want to show. Just like the users are doing here: compojoom.com/forum/5-joomlacomment/6-bu...000-hide-some-fields

Hi Daniel, I see the answer 5
"5. You just install the plugins necessary for jomsocial and the activity system and click the configuration options. "

Is there plugin necessary for jomsocial as you said in the compojoomcomment component package? I ask this because I didn't see jomsocial plugin forum at your plugin area. screencast.com/t/FP3RQVR2oG

Hey Wat,
There is no forum category for the plugins, but I could make one if you want :)

You can get the jomsocial plugins from here:
