Wait, wait, wait! Hotspots is a joomla extension that you install on your website. It doesn't have anything to do with yahoo messenger or, comcast or your email.

Not according to them it isn't. It changes your IP when you surf the web and use P2P programs ( which it did do). The programs was it caused problems in those 3 programs. As soon as I turn off the program, those programs worked fine! So it does effect those programs.

Dude, check your stuff again! The product that we sell is called hotspots and you can buy it here:
compojoom.com/downloads-subscriptions/hotspots12

It is not a program that you can install on your pc, so there is no way that it is any way related to your problems.

I guess that you are talking for wifi hotspot, but this isn't in any way related with the web application for joomla that we offer here.

Well, it's not quite the same name...
The product you are refering to is called "Hotspot Shield", while this product is called Hotspots.
The names may be similar, but the Shield product clearly states what it does with your IP address etc.

Hope you figure it out, 'cause there are probably a lot of other Shield users with the same problem.
Remember, the term itself "Hotspot" is not isolated to these products. The term itself is kind of generic and can be associated to congregational settings/definitions of close to any form.
