and my wrote is arabic windows1256

so when post any user comment It come out UTF-8

but i neet it win1256

how I can convert all posts to win1256

and i dont want UTF8 in my site

Try to change the Local charset in the backend of !jocomment.

in my site I'm use this

Local charset :windows-1256

and i get this message behind it

Php iconv library is available on your server.
Input the charset of your joomla installation if it is different from utf-8.
Clic HERE to check if it is supported by the inconv library ! else, contact the joomlacomment support.


and on anther site i find this message

Will not be used !! php iconv library is not available. If you are using a NOT utf-8 and a NOT iso-8859-1 joomla installation, please contact your administrator OR deactivate the ajax support parameter.


so how i can fix it

Well, that is not the good solution. Without ajax the page has to refresh everytime when the user post a comment.
The idea of ajax is to speed things up and by turning it off you are not helping that.
I believe it is the option where you input your character encoding, but I don't understand why it doesn't work for you.

and i tested on anther host It's working .

maybe "php iconv library" not sopport on Host

so I did every option I found it


But nothing useful
