I think this is a phenomenal extension (and one that, by the way, many people would pay for if developed further - I know I would!)
Three questions:
1. If there were, say, thousands of registered users leaving notes, would this blow up the site/component?
2. Is there any way to restrict the "edit notes" screen so that users can edit text, but not have the options on the bottom (Article, Image, etc.)?
3. How can I change the default menu that appears on the delete/edit page? It defaults to my main menu, but I'd like to have one of my different menus show up instead.
Thanks so much!

1. should not affect performance in any way.
2. edit D:\Development\Joomla\compojoom\com_cnotes\source\components\com_cnotes\models\forms\note.xml
and change the note field to type="textarea"

3. What menu are we talking about?

Regards,
Daniel

Daniel, thanks for such a quick fix, very much appreciated.
Regarding the menu, I'm talking about the actual Joomla mainmenu (usually at the top of a site's homepage, with the links to the different pages on the site). The site I'm developing is a membership site, so their are different menus that display depending on whether a user is logged in or not, their level, etc. I have a separate menu with different menu items for people who are logged in, and I would like this menu to display at the top of the page when a user is editing/viewing their notes (any page generated by the component). Right now, it always displays my mainmenu (the menu displayed to the public, i.e. to people not logged in). Is there a way to tell the component to display one of my other menus?

Also (and you can send a separate email reply if you like), do you do custom work? I like the cNote very much, and may be looking for a more customized version to fit our site even better in the near future. Would like to discuss.
Thanks!
