I've just installed CMandrill to use for emailing and it looks like a great extension. I use CommunityBuilder to manage user registrations and I can't find any way to get the CB emails to go through CMandrill. I'm also using Mailster for sending group emails to lists and even though it has an option to use Joomla mailer, it does not appear to use CMandrill.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to make these two scenarios work? This would really improve my site's emailing capabilities!

Thanks for a great extension!!

Nick.

Hey Nick,
I've written it in the documentation over here:
compojoom.com/support/documentation/mandrill/ch01s03

All extensions that use the standard Joomla API for sending mails will continue to function as normal and the mails will be send trough Mandrill. If you are using extensions that have their own Mail classes, then those extensions will continue to function as normal, but they won't use the Mandrill API

There is nothing I can do for those extensions that don't use the Joomla API. They will have to make their own integrations with the Mandrill service.

Regards,
Daniel
