I installed this, but I don't see any controls for it. I can't get a Mandrill id because their site is down. Will I see more information when I can finally get an id?

Is it impossible to set it up without the API number?
Thanks
Ed

Hey Ed,
Can I ask if you have at all used the Mandrill service? The plugin is for the mandrill api - so of course there is no way to make this run without an API key.

+ There is no way to add messages - all the plugin does is sending the e-mails your joomla installation sends through the mandrill API.

cheers,
Daniel

Ok see. I didn't understand that, at least it's not clear on your site, you might want to think about mentioning that in the documentation.

My problem is that I need to write a tutorial for this for OSTraining and when I visit the Mandrill site all I get is a "browser can't connect" error no matter which browser I use.

I was hoping I could test this even without a key, but I guess the tutorial will have to wait until they get their site back up. I'm not familiar with Mandrill yet, and can't access their site.

Thanks for the reply.
Cheers,
Ed

So you can't access the mandrill.com/ site? It works for me...

Let me know once you manage to get it running :)
Cheers,
Daniel
