the addCC method is not supported by the mailchip's Mandrill API. We will send this mail with PHPMailer
Using Event Registration Pro.
Is there any way to prevent this warning from being displayed? it confuses users when registering, and it really doesn't help the public/visitor to the site as they don't know what it means.

Or if there was a way to fix this it would be even better :)

Thanks

Hey there, Is it Kevin or Keivn?

This should actually not be shown to the user -> we write this to the joomla log. But for some reason there is a bug or a feature in the joomla framework and this message is being outputted as a message to the user (it should be actually only written to the log).

What is your debug level on the site?

Debug System in System configurations is set to No as well as Debug Language. Error Reporting is set to System Default on Server tab.
I edited the mail.php file and commented out the writeToLog for now but of course that will be overwritten on next update.
Should I send a Thank You! card to the Joomla devs? :)

I already asked about this:
groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/joomla-dev-general/DGVNtNNy_3A
That was definitely not the case when I first wrote the component, but I don't know when this issue was first introduced. I'll try to fix it for the next update.
Cheers,
Daniel

I just received this message today, how can I fix the bigger issue....which is the mail bypassing Mandrill and using PHP mailer. I'm using RSform Pro for the form that is being submitted, RS form is supposed to use the native Joomla component for mail.

This may be a RSForm issue all together.
