TOPIC: Reporting Suggestion

I would like to put in my input of a couple things that would really improve Matukio. Unfortunately, I had to change to different software to handle what I needed, that Matukio is lacking, but I still prefer Matukio over this other component.

1. Improve CSV export. This is a big one, and I've seen other forum posts about this. Currently, Matukio will export the primary ticket only, basically the purchaser. However, if there are multiple tickets sold in a single order, Matukio cannot separate each ticket info into a spreadsheet.
-- the one event that I used Matukio for handled everything good, except for this. This was the primary reason I had to change components. This event that I handled had over 3,000 attendees. The organizers were asking for a spreadsheet of all attendee information. I had to spend hours creating individual orders for those that had multiple tickets in them, just so I could do the reporting.

2. Early Bird pricing. Matukio handles multiple pricing great. But what would be an improvement is the ability to have Early Bird pricing. What that would do is override all prices with the early bird price until the expiration date of the early bird price. So, for example, if the regular ticket price was $150, but the organizer wanted a special price of $99 until July 31, 2015, then the $150 price wouldn't even show (or would show as a sale price). In this case, when the date changed to August 1, 2015 then the early bird price would automatically "disappear", and the regular price of $150 would be the price showing.

3. The ability to CSV import for tickets.

1.) Improved that in 5.2 a bit.. It generates now empty placeholders for up to 10 additional places, so you get a valid and clean CSV export file.. It still requires some hand work adjusting the csv export template (because it's different for every installation, hard to do this automatically), but it's working now.

MAT_BOOKING_FIRSTNAME2; MAT_BOOKING_FIRSTNAME3; etc. these are now empty if there is no data in it.

2.) Have that modificators for the normal fee (like this and also group pricing, e.g. buy 5 save x %) on my todo-list for 5.3 / 6.0

3.) Import?? Can you explain a bit more?

FOr #3 -- Import:

As an example, I'm currently using another extension for the current event that I've got running. The import would be the ability to export the CSV from that file, upload into Matukio, and Matukio would load the first row, where you could match the fields from the CSV to the fields in Matukio. Once fields are "mapped", an import button could be clicked that would process the rows in the CSV into Matukio.
One good example of this, that I know of, if in Acymailing. If you go to import a new user, they have a very good import system.

I have a question on how to set up the template for the CSV export so that I can see the details of the other individuals that have been booked under "one place." I have set my CSV export as below:
'MAT_CSV_BOOKING_DETAILS'; MAT_BOOKING_FIRSTNAME2

Now the First Name2 column does show up in the CSV file but there are not inputs. I have 2 individuals that have total of 2 bookings, themselves and one other but the First Name2 is blank.

Please let me know what I am doing wrong.
