TOPIC: Events by current location

Maybe have a filter/option to search for events based on your current location, just hook into location services. thanks pete

What do think on this one Yves? Kind of nice to have an option to see whats in your current location? Even add distance from parameter...

I think i have to develop this feature, because this feature doesn't exist.
Simple radius search, based on current users location, with latitude and longitute and radius, in conjunction with google maps api, to request my own longitute and latutiude.
I have seen such an implementation in another extension.. so i know, it`s possible with matukio events too.

We have it basically implemented in the new tauristar template (geolocation search) and in our API. Have it on my todo-list for 6.1 to autoimplement it (as an option) for all event-list templates.
