TOPIC: Option for a simple event creation form

The default frontend event creation form can be overwhelming for people creating simple events (i.e small sporting club). Can there be an option to collapse the additional tabs after basic or disable them from view if not required.

Do you think this will ever expand to give the admin the option to build their own front end submission form? So I could go through and turn on/off fields I want the front end submission user to complete? That would be awesome and would mean I don't have to have a separate form for people to fill in that then needs to be processed. And if that could hook into the custom fields option that is coming, would be even better!

Hi Pete,

hmm there will be some option (like allow image option or not etc.), but the rest of the things will be fixed in the first version. You could of course use CSS to hide some fields etc. (And it's really a simplified form - with a nice dialog).
