Is there anyway to get the calendar module to fit comfortably into a side placement?
I have used a number of event stuff up through the years, and most of these have a module calendar that can fit at the side. But your module stretches out of the placement due to the Month/Week/Day icon placements.

See here better what I mean:

At the moment your calender is perfect for a placement that covers the maincontent width. But the moment it is placed in a side container it stretches too far.
The attachment shows the calender from Schlu which I want to delete and replace with yours.

Hi Nils,

sorry for the late response - you could try the "old" Matukio module - it has also a calendar view which should currently fit better.

Have a "small" calendar module on my todo-list. (or i am going to change the style, not sure yet)

Hello Yves,
I too would like a small calendar that fits in a sidebar. Is there a seperate download for the 'old' Matukio Calendar Module? Or should I extract it from a previous version of Matukio? And if so, can you tell me what the lastest version of Matukio was, which included the small calendar?
Thanx in advance for your reply!

Hi Ronald,

the old Matukio module with the small calendar is still installed with Matukio (did not remove it) - It's the mod_matukio module (Select calendar view).

That calender module doesn't work for the side columns, as the Month, Week, Day buttons stretch beyond the column.
It would be better if these buttons fell down to the next line, or perhaps were able to unable.

Hi Nils,

which one do you mean (Matukio has two, one is only for larger areas)? Can you provide a screenshot? ;)

Here you see the Month, Week and Day buttons stretch over the column width.
Hm... you say there are two modules for the calender... hehe, I only see one coming up on the module positioning.

Aye that's the new one, which is only for larger positions currently. And then there is the one in mod_matukio (the old module, with many different functions -> just select calendar).

Doing that gives me a blank page with the fault message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/P/ptkno/www/modules/mod_matukio/mod_matukio.php on line 1

That's weird - on line 1? Theres just a PHP open tag (<?php)

For me the module is working fine - didn't change it for a long time (last time somewhen around 4.0 when recurring events were integrated).

Can you take a look at the file? Something must gone wrong with it :/

This is interesting...
When I see the file from the download (compojoom), then the file is correct.
When I FTP that file over to the Server, it gets changed again to this weird coding.
The CHMOD is set at 755 for that folder.

Notepad++ seems not to like the line return char, but that should not cause that issue on a linux server and the rest looks fine - not sure what's causing that.

Probably because the line encoding is CRLF (windows) in this file (haven't updated that), but as i said that shouldn't cause any errors, except making it hard to read.

I too would like to be able to post a small calendar on my site.

PS: I have the same blank page problem, using the old matukio module for the calendar
