I guess I like the Transifex idea. But tell me, why are not all the strings up there?
Like this one which is rather relevant:
(from: dk-DA.com_matukio.ini )
; COM_MATUKIO_BOOK_NOW="Book now"
I understand that I can make a override, but it's kind of an essential sentence to have translated and I would much rather keep it a nice neat ini file.

Hi Vilhelm,

hmm weird - normally all strings should be there (updated just some days ago), but not all strings have been translated into danish yet.

Sure you looked into the correct file?

Kind regards,

Yves

Hey Vilhelm,
Your question is not really correct. The strings are not missing, they are in the file, but placed as comments :) Why is this happening?
When we push the source files to transifex (the en-GB) transifex parses the files and determines which strings are already translated. The strings that are translated are shown without the semicolon (;) and those that are not translated in the specific language are shown as comments (with semicolon). If you translate the strings on transifex, we have a cronjob that runs every 30mins and builds the language files again (if it finds any changes on transifex).

If you translate this there, and once the language package is ready you can install it on your site and everything should be fine. It will be fine for you and for every other danish user out there :)

Cheers,
Daniel

Daniel are you sure about the 30 minutte build? I have put in translations hours ago today and they are still not kicking in...
Eample "City" translated to "By" - Transifex has had that translation for 3 hours but it is still not in the translation file which btw is build at 12:00 yesterday (downloaded a couple of minuttes ago)

Hey Vilhelm,
You were right! It's not 30 minutes as I thought but every 12 hours. I changed it to 30mins and I manually started the cronjob:
Project: Matukio. We've generated 1 packs.
Can you test the danish language now? Is everything that you look for there?

Cheers,
Daniel
