TOPIC: Eventlink not working

I have a problem with the eventlink generated for the mail sent for new events.
seems like MAT_EVENT_URL is generated wrong.
the link is working but the id is not the one it should be. here an example:
the url which i get: talenteverbund.at/index.php/termine/even...nar/74-testeventneu4
the correct url: talenteverbund.at/index.php/akademie/eve...ie/198-testeventneu4

it is not related with sef rewrite. the problem starts already with the "Search engine friendly" setting.
any clue whats wrong?

i have the current version 6.0.6 installed.

Hey Herbert,

sorry for the late response.

Joomla always takes on main link (from the Matukio event-list overview) as a basic for the routing. In your case index.php/termine and not index.php/akademie.

You can change the alias, of the termine one or just delete that one and recreate it (so it's not at the first in the database).

P.S.: With Joomla 3.7 there will be a new router, hopefully that will resolve all these issues.

this does not solve the problem because the routing is not the problem.
the problem is that the event gets the wrong id in the overview list. it has the event id 74 but in the overview the link states 198.

the id taken for the link is the dates id and not the event id.
so this needs to be changed in the link generated for the email!?

ps: i tried to delete one menu item but the problem was still the same

this problem still exists! please help! gets anoying to check the events manually without the functioning link...

For which of the two forms does the problem show up? Submit event form? To be honest we don't have the new id there. (Without doing a bit query), so MAT_NEW_EVENT_LINK is not working in that context..

Added it to the todo-list though..

the problem is the link sent via email to admins when a new event is created so its MAT_EVENT_URL and also the same way for MAT_EVENT_LINK

the link created uses the event id like : talenteverbund.at/termine/event/0/16-hollabrunn/ 121-testevent1

but this link is not working and leads to another event.
within the event overview the following link is used: talenteverbund.at/termine/event/0/16-hollabrunn/ 247-testevent1
this id is the one used at "Daten" and not the event id.

and since the the update to the new version the site navigation in the overview is also not working anymore... alyways jumps to top (# appended)

Yes i understood what you meant, the issue is the recurring event (247 in your sample) is not available at the moment Matukio writes the mail.

Your template also overwrites the default joomla pagination (which we use since 6.0.8 ).. and generates the following link:

Have the feeling we should switch back to our own.. Too many override issues

Okay 6.0.11 is out, bringing back the old pagination - so it also works without deleting / modifying template overrides (really a mess what the template stores are doing there)...

more problems are coming up...
now it is also not possible to edit an event because of messed up ids...
this url is used for the edit event button: talenteverbund.at/index.php?option=com_m...t&cid=247&Itemid=398
this leads to a create a new event page.

if i use this link instead: talenteverbund.at/index.php?option=com_m...t&cid=121&Itemid=398
whit this link i can edit the existing event...

starts to confuse me

yes tihs is a known issue on some intallation. Will be fixed with the next Matukio release today or tomorrow.
