TOPIC: CSV Export Issue

In Matukio 5, I was able to show all, filter by paid, and do a full export of every booking. However, since Matukio 6, the CSV export will only work on up to 100 records at a time. If All is selected, it will just reload the page when the CSV File button is pressed. This may not be an issue will small events, but when you have an event like one I am using Matukio for, that currently has over 1,000 attendees, it's a real pain to have to export 100, click the Bookings menu link, go to page 2, export, click the bookings menu link, etc. The bookings menu must be clicked before a page change, otherwise the download box will appear for the page that you are currently on.

hmm we have not changed anything in this area. Exporting 1000s of bookings at once is a really resource intensive task, probably that is the issue. 1000 bookings means 1000 rows + events + payment data + many other tables to be accessed. Even the fastest server is going to break under that task.

This is something that should not be done in one request. Best would be some sort of ajax driven batch generation of that csv file.. (Split in chunks of max 50-100 bookings). I see what can be done from our site there..

Something definitely changed. I can't even run a signature list for all participants any more.

Hopefully you'll be able to come up with some type of a solution around it.
