TOPIC: Not able to save a new or edited event (v5.2)

Hi Yves,

Just couldn't wait and installed 5.2. Great new features!
But I've got a little problem. Every time I try to save an event, I got an empty page with url "administrator/index.php", with no further parameters in the URL.
And my changes or new event are not saved.
I only got this problem with events. Locations, event fields and so on can all be saved.

I'm using the latest Google Chrome on the latest Win7 with the latest Joomla version. But this also happens in Firefox and IE11.
I'm baffled and have no explanation for this behavior. Can you please take a look?

Hi Rob,

weird - did you update from a previous version? White page means PHP 500 error. Try activating joomla debugging and set error reporting to development (in the global configuration of Joomla), then we should know more.

Any weird messages during install? I would guess there is a database problem.

Hi Yves,

I Installed on top of version 5.1. I used the update function in Joomla.
But just to be on the save side I just downloaded the package from the Compojoom website and did a install of that through the old fashioned installer.
Now I got feedback form the install. Everything was green.
And... now it all works fine.

Update of events works again. Re-install did the trick.

great that it is working now, but still a very weird problem. Would be interesting to have seen the error message to fix it.
