TOPIC: Not allowed to upload photos form frontend

Hi, when (as an external front-end event-creater) I try to upload photos, I get the message: in danish "Ugyldig Tokuen" / English??: "bad token"
I can with no problem create the event with all typing info, juts pictures that will not install.
Is it a Joomla preference / Matukio - or is there something I should know?

hmm that's weird - but the user is allowed to upload from the backend? Normally all authorized users (starting with editor imo should be allowed - take a look at the ACL rights of com_media).

Hi Yves.
Even "upgrading the frontend eventcreater to "Administrator gives the same res. and .. "He" can do everything else.. also inserting pictures from existing cataloque, juts not opload pictures

Hi Kim,

just checked on your site and something seems to go wrong with the session / token - as i said we are using com_media for the image handling which is part of Joomla not of Matukio.

Weird thing is that it only happens on the fronted on your site and not the backend..

Going to investigate more and trying to reproduce that problem locally (on every other site i tested so far it's working fine, so it has to be something to do with your configuration / plugin setup). Please don't disable the support user.
