Hi,

I'm using Matukio 3.0.8 and I'm a bit confused WRT the Booking fields options.

I have changed the the options in the Booking fields section so that only First name, Last name, E-mail and Mobile are published, but still the fields I see in the booking form on the site are Name and E-mail (plus whatever optional fields I've defined for the event).

Any idea why? Are the Booking field settings supposed to work on 3.0.8. I am using the old single page booking form.

Oh. The Name field I mentioned above is a custom booking field I created earlier. Since then I deleted it, but it still shows up in the form.

Thanks,
Jani-Matti Hätinen

Hi Jani,

the old booking form is not using the new booking fields.

The old booking form is using the following:

- The fixed static fields Name and email (which are hidden if a user is logged in and filled with the user data)
- And the custom event specific fields

Best regards,

Yves

Ok. That figures. Thanks.

Any estimate when/if the code for the old one page form might be dropped? And will you accept patches for that code? (the booking confirmation page especially wouldn't mind a bit of TLC)

For now I'll probably just fix the hardcoded fields in the code and the database schema. (The multi-page booking form just doesn't make any sense in our use-case)

We are not going to drop the old one page form, maybe replace it through a nicer one page booking form including confirmation, payment etc. Of course we are accepting patches for it :) After 3.1 i am going to rewrite the old event specific fields and replace them through an easier and more userfriendly solution.

Best regards,

Yves
