TOPIC: Booking Mail Sent to wrong adress

One of my coaches Told me he received several confirmation Mail of events he is not set as organizer.
In the event details there is only my mailadress included
System: Matukio 3.0.8
Homolka 2.5

are you sure he is not the organizer / publisher or that you have an email override through an organizer page pointing at his address? The address is loaded every time the mail is sent from the Joomla user (or the override).

It's been at 3 different Events - and there have been several bookings, none of the Events have been edited
No idea what happened

Has the user been edited? As ia said it's loaded from the publishers Joomla account.

Yesterday evening the bug occured again - at 23:20 i got a confirmation Mail to my adress (as organisator) and to the second adress ( as in the configuration menu ).
At the Same Time a confirmation Mail has been sent to one of my coaches and the organisator suddenly was changed to this coach ...
The organisator of an event can't bei changed in the frontend an none of my coaches has access to the backend.

Until now the mails have allways been sent to coaches - so far as i know never to participants ...

Got new Information about the Bug - i have two coaches who are allowed to edit events and every Time One of These coaches edits an Event the organisator is set to the last person editing the event.
This is the reason he / she gets the confirmation mail...

Still got the problem if someone edits an event he/she ist set as organisator and gets the confirmation mail...

Hi Lydia,

if someone edits an event in the frontend that is wanted like that, that is the reason because the field select is hidden .. (You should not create / edit events for other people in the frontend - that is the reason it is overwritten)..

Not sure how to find a good, reliable solution there.

Why the hell is the organizer of an Event changed just if someone else edits the Event??? Cannot find any good reason for this action - sorry.
We have about 200 events a Year and often two coaches have to plan an event or another coach has also to edit an event ( e.g. Changed Place or ad someone Information ) - its Not possible to surveille all events to make shure the original coach gets his information.

to clearify we are talking about the FRONTEND!

Why? -> Because Matukio is designed that in the frontend organizers should only edit there own events and normally should not have rights to edit other events (else you can give them backend access, where they can do the same).. And elsewise you can't say who edited an event..

I have already posted you the position which you need to change if you don't want it this way..

administrator/components/com_matukio/helpers/util_events.php -> just search for $row->publisher and remove the " && !frontend" ) from the if clause:

if ($art != 3 && !$frontend)
{

to

if ($art != 3)

I change that into a setting for you in Matukio 3.1.. so you don't need to change the code all time..
